Role Summary: Jim serves as an Elder and as the Educational Director at Lighthouse. As an Elder, he works alongside Pastor PJ and the other Elders to help oversee the spiritual health of the church and support the pastoral team. As Educational Director, Jim oversees the Sunday School program and all educational ministries, including junior church and Bible studies. He works with the General Board to ensure that classes are led by competent teachers and that Christ‑centered learning opportunities are available for all ages.

About Jim: Jim gave his heart to the Lord 54 years ago. He and his wife, Deborah, have been married for 46 years and have four adult children. Together, they have served in full‑time, bi‑vocational, and volunteer ministry for more than 45 years. Much of Jim’s ministry has been devoted to Christian education, and he has also published a book. His desire is to help believers grow in their understanding of God’s Word and to strengthen biblical learning across generations at Lighthouse.
